This is the official website for the Aztec Ditch Company.
The Aztec Ditch Company is a volunteer organization whose purpose is to deliver water from the Animas River to the users of the Aztec Ditch for irrigation and beneficial use.
The Aztec Ditch Company also provides water to the City of Aztec, New Mexico for its city reservoirs and to the North Star Water Users Association.
The Aztec Ditch is located in San Juan County,
New Mexico,and is a member of the
San Juan Agricultural Water Users Association.
WATER IS COMING
When will water be available?
The good news - water is currently flowing into town and should be available by Friday, April 3, 2026 for most users.
The bad news - your bill will also be coming soon and will be due before June 30, 2026 in order to not have late fees added. No change in the annual amount from last year was approved, so your annual fee is the same as
in 2025.
